Let’s talk about meditation

At this point, almost all of us have some relationship with meditation. Some people practice daily and swear by it, some want to become meditators but can’t seem to get in the habit, some people have no interest in meditation and are sick of being told they’re not allowed to feel that way.

How do you feel about meditation?

If you’re a regular meditator, tell us about your type of meditation and how you do it. What does your routine look like, what tools or apps do you use, which parts of the conventional wisdom about meditation do you agree with and which do you reject, and what’s your advice to people (like me) who know they should meditate regularly but who have trouble getting in the habit?

If you’re a wanna-be regular meditator, what’s blocking you from being one?

If you find your breath to be less than fascinating and are bored with people telling you to feel otherwise, which parts of the prevailing “everybody should meditate” beliefs do you feel are misguided?

And if you’re not sure how you feel about meditation or simply want to get better at it, this is the perfect place to ask questions, so ask away.
